Happy New Year! I hope this post finds you all happy, rested and geared up for a fantastic year! I’m embarrassed I haven’t blogged since November…. it’s completely unacceptable! I made a resolution to blog weekly at the least! I had such a fantastic fall— wrapped up a wonderful wedding season, had a stellar senior season and took some great fall family photos! This post is the first of many– I couldn’t decide what to blog first— so I chose seniors!
I rely heavily on referrals— it’s how I book weddings, family and kid sessions and seniors. So I attempted my first shot of marketing. I chose to focus on seniors to see what could happen. I sent postcards, made some flyers and most importantly, created a senior rep program. I choose about 8 seniors to do free photos of, made rep cards and offered some fabulous rewards for referrals! (Can you say iphones and computers??) I am pleased to report I TRIPLED my business from last year! I had so much fun— I met some fantastic kids from all over– Novi, Mercy, Dexter, Tecumseh, Ypsi, Greenhills, South Lyon, Northville to name a few! (Even Iowa!) I’m so excited for the class of 2011! I learned a ton, what works, what doesn’t and most importantly what I can improve for next year! I’d like you to meet some of my fantastic kids from this year!
